## What it means

Obvious highs and lows have stop orders resting just beyond them. Price often pushes through to trigger those stops, then snaps back. This strategy trades the snap back.

## How it is confirmed without repainting

The sweep counts only when the candle closes back inside. A wick that is still forming is ignored.

## When it fails

The next candle closes beyond the level again, turning the sweep into a real breakout.
