Our data

Facts first.

Prop Firm Duel publishes each firm's rules as the firm publishes them. The Duel puts two programs' published rules side by side, sides in A–Z order, so you can read them together. Here's exactly how the data is collected and shown.

  1. Only the firm's own sources. Every value comes from the firm's website, help center, terms or official announcements. Review sites and forums are never used as sources; they often disagree with the firms and with each other.
  2. Every value is dated. Each firm shows the date we last reviewed it and links to every page we used.
  3. Nothing is guessed. A value we haven't confirmed says "Being verified." We never estimate, average or fill gaps from other firms.
  4. Programs, not just firms. Most firms sell several programs with very different rules. We list each program separately, by account size.
  5. Data first, picks labeled. Tables and lists are A–Z unless you sort a column. The Duel shows two programs side by side without picking a winner, and the homepage price list is sorted by one published number (list price per $1,000 of drawdown), not by any judgment of the firm.
  6. Firm claims are labeled. When a firm publishes how much it has paid traders, we show that figure as the firm's own, in its own words, with where and when we saw it: on its page, in the homepage list of what firms say they've paid out, and as a payout-club badge ($10M+, $100M+, $1B+). Firms count payouts in different ways, so these figures are never added together and never used to decide an award.
  7. List prices first. Prices are the firm's standard list prices. Where a firm publishes one flat percent off every plan, we also show the price after that code, labeled with the code.
  8. Rule changes are logged. When a firm changes a rule, we update the value and re-date it.
