Prop Firm Duel (propfirmduel.com, "the site", "we", "us"). By using the site you agree to these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, our Risk Disclaimer and our Disclosure. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Who can use the site
The site is intended for adults aged 18 and over. Prop firm products may not be available in your country; each firm decides who it accepts.
What the site is, and isn't
The site publishes prop firms' rules, prices and payout terms as the firms publish them, along with guides and tools. It is general information and education.
- Not advice. Nothing on the site is financial, investment, trading, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy any product or make any trade. We don't know your circumstances.
- Not a broker or adviser. We aren't a broker, a commodity trading advisor, an introducing broker or an investment adviser, and we aren't registered with the CFTC, the NFA, the SEC or any other regulator. We don't handle money, accounts or trades for anyone.
- Not a prop firm. We don't sell evaluations or funded accounts. Any purchase you make is between you and the firm, under the firm's own terms.
Accuracy of information
Each rule comes from the firm's own pages, is reviewed by a person, and shows the date we reviewed it. Firms change their rules, prices and terms often, sometimes without notice, so information here can be out of date, incomplete or wrong. A dash means we haven't confirmed that value. Always read the firm's current terms before you buy. If you spot an error, send a correction.
Tools and hypothetical results
Compare, Replay My Trades, the Survival Test, Stack Builder, All-in Cost, the Match Quiz and the Duel apply published rules to numbers you enter. Their results are simplified, hypothetical estimates for education. They don't predict whether you will pass an evaluation, keep an account, receive a payout or make a profit, and they may leave out rules, fees or conditions that apply to a real account.
Firms, links and codes
We link to prop firms and other websites that we don't control. We aren't responsible for their content, products, services, rules, decisions or practices, including whether a firm pays out, changes its terms or stays in business. Discount codes are published as the firm or its partners publish them and may change or end without notice; the firm decides whether a code applies. Our commercial relationships, if any, are described on our Disclosure page.
Firm names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners. We use firm names only to identify the firms, and we show a firm's logo only with its permission. No firm endorses or sponsors the site unless we say so.
Acceptable use
Don't use the site to:
- break any law or anyone else's rights;
- disrupt, overload or attack the site, or try to gain unauthorized access to it or its systems;
- copy the site's compiled data in bulk to build or feed a competing directory or database, or republish our guides as your own;
- impersonate a person or firm, or send us false corrections or responses;
- send spam, malware or anything harmful.
Search engines and AI assistants are welcome to read and index public pages to answer people's questions and link back to us.
Our content and your license to use it
The site's design, text, guides, tools, and our selection and arrangement of data belong to us or our licensors. Facts from firms' own published terms aren't owned by anyone, but our compilation and presentation of them is our work. You may view and use the site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, link to any page, and quote short excerpts with a link to the source page. Anything else needs our written permission.
Things you send us
If you send us a correction, a firm response, feedback or other material, you confirm you have the right to send it and give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, edit and publish it on and in connection with the site. We may decide not to publish anything. We publish firm responses as sent, as long as they are factual and relevant.
Copyright complaints
If you believe something on the site infringes your copyright, email propfirmduel@gmail.com with: your contact details; a description of the work; the exact page on our site; a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized by you, your agent or the law; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature. We'll respond promptly, remove material where appropriate, and may pass your notice to the person who provided the material.
Disclaimer of warranties
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, trading losses, evaluation, reset, activation or subscription fees, or lost payouts, arising from your use of the site or your reliance on anything on it, even if we were told such loss was possible. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100). Some places don't allow some of these limits, so they apply to you only as far as your local law permits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Indemnity
If you use the site in breach of these terms or the law, you agree to cover the reasonable losses and costs, including legal fees, that we incur from any resulting third-party claim.
Ending access
We may suspend or end access to the site or any account at any time if we reasonably believe these terms have been broken, or if we stop operating the site. The sections on content, submissions, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and disputes continue to apply.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you have a concern, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be decided by the state or federal courts located in Arizona, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction, except that either of us may bring a claim in small-claims court where it qualifies. If you live in the EU or UK, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and can bring claims in your local courts.
General
These terms, together with the policies they refer to, are the whole agreement between you and us about the site. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don't enforce a term right away, we haven't waived it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours to a successor operator of the site. We aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change is material, we'll give reasonable notice on the site before it takes effect. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the updated terms.
