What it costs to get funded

The entry price is not the cost. Add the activation fee you pay when you pass, and any extra attempts.

Cost by program
ProgramEntry priceActivation when you passOne funded accountWith a second attempt
Trading Combine: Standard$49/mo$149$198 + each month$247
Trading Combine: No Activation Fee$95/moNone$95 + each month$190

Cheapest published size per program, at the firm’s listed prices, before discounts and data fees. The second-attempt column adds one reset where the firm sells resets, or a second evaluation where it does not. Work it out for your own number of attempts.

Hitting the daily limit pauses trading for the session; it is not a rule violation. On this path it also takes $10, $20 or $30 a month off the price ($85, $129, $199).

Firm-wide rules

  • One rule: never let the account balance touch the Maximum Loss Limit, including on unrealized P&L.
  • The Maximum Loss Limit trails the end-of-day balance upward and locks once it reaches the starting balance. It is never adjusted or waived.
  • All Trading Combines and funded accounts must sit under one Topstep profile; multiple profiles violate the Terms of Use.
  • There is no limit on how many Trading Combines you can hold at once.
  • Automated strategies and trade copiers are allowed, with conditions; Topstep does not support their setup and makes no exceptions for errant trades.
  • Account sizes cannot be changed after purchase.
  • Level 1 market data is included; Level 2 is a $38/month upgrade.
  • Consistency target: the best single day should stay below 55% of the profit target (shown on the Combine checkout, Sep 26, 2026). Exceeding it raises the profit target rather than failing the account.
  • One rule: do not let the balance touch the Maximum Loss Limit. It trails the end-of-day balance upward, never down, and locks once it reaches the starting balance. It is monitored in real time, including unrealized P&L.
  • The trading day runs 5:00 PM CT to 3:10 PM CT the next day. Profits do not carry from the Combine to the funded account.
  • Level 1 data is included; Level 2 (depth of market) is $38 a month.
  • Back2Funded reactivation after losing a funded account before the first payout: $599 (50K), $699 (100K), $829 (150K), within 30 days.
